Adult & Family

 

A traditional Tang Soo Do training session for adults and family members of all ages. Open to color belts (beginner to advanced) and black belts.  Focus is on flexibility, basic technique (strikes, blocks, stance), forms,  self defense,  sparring, and physical fitness.  Students develop inner and outer strength, mental focus, and improve level of fitness. 

 

Children

 

 

A traditional Tang Soo Do training session for children only. Open to color belts (beginner to advanced) and black belts.  Focus is on flexibility,  basic technique (strikes, blocks, stance), forms,  self defense,  sparring, and physical fitness.  Children  learn respect, focus, and discipline.

 

Advanced

 

A traditional Tang Soo Do training session for adults and family members of all ages.  Open to black belts and advanced red belts only.  This is faster pace training focused on advanced techniques, dynamic kicking, competitive sparring, advanced self defense (knife defense, gun defense), advanced forms, and intense physical fitness training.  Students sharpen their skills, develop speed/power,  and continue growth as martial artists.

 

Sword

 

 

Haidong Gumdo is a modernized Korean sword art that is derived from the ways, techniques, and philosophy of ancient Korean sword history dating back thousands of years. Haidong Gumdo teaches its students confidence, complete body and balance control, as well as a smoothness of motion and greatly defined sharpness of mind. 

 

Karate Fitness

 

 

A fun and intense family fitness class developed from traditional Tang Soo Do competitive training programs.  This class utilizes jump rope, kicking/punching, foot work, stretching, sparring, and more to develop cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, strength, speed, and power.  

 

Sparring & Kickboxing

 

A sparring/kickboxing training session open to all students, utilizing a range of drills including focus pads, power kicking, sparring, footwork, and cross-training. Focus is on speed, power, and timing.  This is for the student looking to improve competitive performance and/or enhance their martial arts training.  Sessions are normally held on the weekends and scheduled in advance.
