Master
Peter G. Oien, a 7th degree Master with over 30 years of experience
began his martial arts training in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do while
serving in the military in the mid 1970’s. When he moved to
Pennsylvania in 1977 he continued his training in the Korean art of
Tang Soo Do and what tested for his black belt in 1980 by the founder
of Tang Soo Do, Grand Master Hwang Kee. Since that time, Master Oien
has made a long and very successful career of the Martial arts. The
North American Tang Soo Do Association was founded in 1990 by Master
Oien with a constantly growing membership. The Association was founded
for the purpose of upholding the traditional teachings and training
that have been proven over time. Unlike most organizations, the N.A.T.A.
schools teach the art form exactly as it was handed down by the ancient
Korean Masters.
Master
Ron Robb is a 4th degree Master. He began his training in the Spring
of 1992 in the Korean Martial Art of Tang Soo Do under Master Oien
at the North American Karate and Fitness located in Greensburg Pa.
He has many accomplishments since he began his training including
many grand champion tournament placings, earning the rank of Kyosa(instructor)
as a second degree black belt, being NATA instructor of the year and
becoming a 3rd degree blackbelt in Haidong Gumdo. In March of 1995
he opened his first successful school, located in Greengate Mall Greensburg
Pa. He has been teaching since then and recently opened a new location
in Mt Pleasant Pa. It is his goal to spread the knowledge and traditional
teachings of the martial Arts, like they were handed down over time.

Master John Yaremko, a fourth-degree
master, began his training in Tang Soo Do in 1996. In November of 1999,
he was promoted to first-degree black belt and under the guidance of
Master Oien and assumed the position of instructor of N.A.K.F. in Irwin.
In May of 2000, Mr. Yaremko opened the new N.A.K.F location in North
Huntington. He was promoted to second-degree black belt in June of 2001
and achieved his third-degree black belt in January of 2004 from the
North American Tang Soo Do Association and Was promoted to a master
in June of 2006.
Ms.
Jane Arenas a third degree black belt began her training 11 years
ago in the Greensburg dojang and under Master Oien's guidance, she
received her black belt degree in 1999. . After moving to Williamsport,
she started teaching at the YWCA until opening the Park Avenue school
6 months later. Master Oien's teaching of traditional Tang Soo Do
has inspired her to focus on instilling the rich history of the art,
exercises of focus and discipline, and activities that promote physical
fitness. All the while, she strives to establish a family environment
for training and community participation. From her remote location,
she continues to be very active in the North American Karate and Fitness
organization, attending color belt tests, assisting with tournament
coordination, and facilitating with other administrative responsibilities.

Ms. Stacy Tomey is a 3rd degree black belt in the art of Tang Soo Do and is currently working on her certification in Haidong Gumdo as well as her Masters in Tang Soo Do. She has been heading up the Anchorage Alaska North American Karate and Fitness branch for around 8 years and has sacrificed much of her time working with all the economic leves of children and adults in the Anchorage area. She is a great asset to the art and an excellent Tang Soo Do instructor. She has inspired many new Martial Artists over the years with her enthusiasm and abilities. Her accomplishemnts in the tournament circut are many and any student will be fortunate to have the opportunity to train with Ms. Tomey
