In short Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art that focuses on striking using both hands and feet for self defense. The goal of Tang Soo Do however is to create a student who is open minded, balanced, confident and disciplined. Someone who in times of need has the knowledge, confidence and mental strength to resolve conflict without force and who in everyday situations has the patience to minimize conflict.

Tang Soo Do also creates a student who is both physically and mentally fit that has a quick hand and a sharp mind. While physically centering on self defense, body power and conditioning the effects of Tang Soo Do are just as quantitative mentally and spiritually, helping contribute to a greater overall feeling of well being.

Because Korean Martial Art combines many kicking techniques with hands and punching techniques the student looking for kick boxing training will be well suited for this type of training. With lots of foot work, kicking techniques and punches this style of Martial Art is highly aerobic and developes a sense of co-ordination with the ability to defend ones self.
